Services Provided
Peninsula Allergy Associates offers allergy skin tests for pollens (grasses, weeds, and trees) dust mites, molds, animal dander, stinging insects, and foods. We treat allergic disease with immunotherapy (allergy shots) when history, physical and allergy tests indicate such treatment would be of benefit to the patient. In office spirometry (lung function tests) for asthma evaluation is performed as well as asthma medicine management. Food allergy evaluation can be done safely by "prick" skin tests and, if necessary, oral food allergy challenges can be done in the office under physician supervision.
Insurance Information
Peninsula Allergy Associates participates in most insurance plans. We will bill your insurance plan and assist in any needed follow-up. We will verify your plans participation, and help you obtain the necessary referrals to confirm your plans coverage.
